
Japan’s Yuma Kagiyama outscored Ilia Malinin of the United States in the free skate but finished second overall behind the “Quad God” at figure skating’s Grand Prix Final on Saturday.
Malinin won his second consecutive Grand Prix Final title with a total of 292.12 points, 10.34 ahead of Kagiyama. Japanese compatriot Shun Sato moved up one spot to round out the podium with 270.82 in Grenoble, France.
