SEOUL – A South Korean plane with 181 aboard veered off a runway and slammed into a fence at an airport in the southwestern province of South Jeolla on Sunday, killing at least 124 people, according to firefighters.
Yonhap News Agency, however, reported all but the two of the 175 passengers and six crew who were aboard the Jeju Air flight that crashed upon arrival at Muan International Airport are presumed to have died.
